This is a quick and easy mizuna salad, that can be used with a mix of green mizuna and red cloud mizuna, or one or the other.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1 Heaping Tsp. Mustard
  • 2 Tsp. Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • Sea Salt
  • Chili Flakes
  • Purple or Green Mizuna, or both

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dressing ingredients.
  2. Freshly toast the sesame seeds in a pan on low heat, shaking and stirring them, until the scent is nice and they are a golden brown. Be careful not to burn them, they go from perfect to burned pretty quickly. Add the seeds with the rest of the dressing ingredients.
  3. Pour as much dressing as you need for the amount of Mizuna you have.
  4. Top with shaved carrots, turnips, or radishes.
