Kohlrabi Salad with Steamed Chard
One of my favorite ways to eat kohlrabi is to julienne it for salad. In this recipe, I put it on top of some steamed chard.
Ingredients:
Raw Kohlrabi (cut and discard the fibrous skin off from the outside and then julienne the kohlrabi)
Fresh Lime Juice
Olive Oil
Sea Salt
Paprika
1 bunch of chard
Fresh Lemon Juice
A little organic tamari (optional)
Directions:
Massage the julienned kohlrabi with some olive oil and salt.
Then squeeze a fresh lime and mix it up with a few sprinkles of paprika.
Steam the chard with a little water, and place the steamed chard on a plate.
Squeeze some lemon juice on top and add some tamari.
Top it off with some pretty radishes.
