Arugula Pesto Recipe w/ Red Frill
Use this spread for toast, crackers or a dip for veggies. Any variety of arugula will work, but if it’s more spicy, add a little something to tone it down, like nuts or cilantro. Red frill is great to have, but it’s fine without it too.
Arugula Pesto w/ Red Frill
This arugula pesto can be made with any arugula variety. The red frill is an added benefit, and can be used or not, depending if you have it.
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Arugula
- 1 Cup Red Frill
- 1 Lime (juiced)
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 2 Tbsp. Capers
Instructions
- Pack ingredients into a food processor and pulse until mixed well, with some texture.
- Use this pesto as a dip or spread for veggies, crackers, or bread.
Notes
If you don't have red frill just use all arugula.
