Sunrise Organic Farm

I met Andrew of Sunrise Organic Farm, around April of 2020. Since then we became such good friends, laughing hysterically on the phone about all the wild and crazy farming stories. It’s not easy though. There have been stories that were heart breaking, and some that made me feel as though we were on the edge of a cliff. Farming has so many day to day challenges, and Andrew, his partner Jesus, and his team have followed through for us in unbelievable ways. Not only does the farm look epically beautiful, the high quality of their produce is consistent, which Andrew takes very seriously. 

Sunrise really does feel like a sunny happy place. The name is very fitting, and he practically grows everything he can under the sun. I once asked his teammate Erik, if Andrew celebrated Christmas, when I brought a present to the farm. Erik said, “Of course he does! He celebrates everything. Andrew celebrates Tuesdays!”

It’s always been a joy to work with the Sunrise Organic Farm family, and  our members have been so happy to receive their produce too.
