Citrus & Sumac, Fennel Salad Recipe
I love adding citrus to things hat make the dish feel vibrant and refreshing. This recipe is as simple as can be!

Citrus & Sumac
Citrus wether it's used with salad or protein is a refreshing addition to a dish. Sumac is a great combination.
Ingredients
- 1 Bulb Shaved Fennel
- Frisee or Red Frill Leaves
- English or Snap peas
- Olive Oil
- Lemon
- Blood Orange
- Sumac
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
Instructions
- Shave a bulb of fennel. Drizzle some olive oil on top and add a little sea salt. Then massage the fennel.
- Plate some frisee. Add the fennel on top and squeeze lemon juice all over.
- Add fresh peas. For snap peas, open or slice the pods.
- Add slices of blood orange and lemon.
- Add a little more olive oil.
- Sprinkle sumac and a little black pepper.
- Other additions can be chopped almonds and shaved tokyo turnips.
