Brands I Trust
When you search and search for more earth friendly brands, and finally find it, you want to share it with everyone. I’ve narrowed it down to a few that I feel good about recommending. They’re somewhat pricey, but not too bad, and after all this time of trying, searching, and narrowing it down; Finding what works, can be a money saver to just know what you need and stick with it.
Skin Care
Benedetta (Try their travel set first.) There are so many skin care products out there, I’m bombarded with ads all the time. I’m sure there are some really good ones. I’ve spoken to the Owner of Benedetta at length in her store in Petaluma, and I feel good about this brand for her sourcing and knowledge in the ingredients.
Hair Care
Natulique One of our customers is the seller in California for this brand. I feel confident in the natural ingredients, and it does good things for curly hair and a sensitive scalp like mine, which is hard to manage. Their standards are very high, you can read more about that here.
Make up
Inika Organic (Sign up for their emails they have really good sales.) What little I use for make up, I’m happy to get it from Inika.
Cookware
Caraway (I searched several blogs and searched various websites for the top non toxic cookware. This seems to be legitimate!)
Le Cruset (Everyone knows this, but had to list it.)
That’s about it for now. If anyone knows of a local, earth friendly clothing company please share it with me!
